Help me to help Joe Rebuild His Home After a Typhoon in the Philippines

Hi everyone, I’m Carleboy17, a content creator on YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok.

During my recent trip to El Nido, Philippines, I met an incredible man named Joe — our local guide who went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience possible. He’s one of those people who always puts others first, full of kindness and positivity.

Sadly, just a short time after we left, a devastating typhoon hit the area. A huge mango tree was blown over by the storm and crashed through Joe’s family home while they were asleep at around 4 AM. Miraculously, everyone survived — but Joe suffered a serious ankle injury and had to spend his last bit of savings on surgery and medical bills.

Now Joe is unable to work as he recovers, leaving his family without income. Their home is still badly damaged — walls torn open, the roof gone — and they’re using umbrellas for shelter when they eat. They are truly struggling to afford food, let alone rebuild their house.

Joe has always been someone who helps others, and now it’s our turn to help him.
