It is with a heavy heart we share Kevork Avadis ALS diagnosis. ALS is short for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, aka, Lou Gehrig’s Disease. The nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord end up deteriorating and dying which causes a lack of communication with the muscles. On December 15, 2023 Kevork received the devastating news. His wife, Adilia and 2 children, Shant and Natalie, have been supporting him along with close family and friends. With no known cure of ALS, he is working diligently on his daily exercises and medication. The mental, emotional and physical challenges has diminished his capabilities to work to support his family. Kevork is a small business owner in the automotive industry. He has a heart of gold and has maintained a healthy lifestyle throughout his life. This is a terminal illness with a 2-5 year lifespan.
