Please Help Me Stay Strong for My Daughter

Hi, my name is Marina, and I’m a single mom to a beautiful, brave daughter with complex medical needs. For over a month now, my little girl has been in the hospital, fighting through a very difficult and exhausting health crisis. It’s been one of the hardest times of our lives.

I’ve been by her side every single day, doing everything I can to comfort her, advocate for her care, and hold our little world together. As a parent, especially a single parent, you do everything you can — but right now, I’m at a point where I can’t do this alone.

On top of the emotional and physical toll of my daughter’s hospitalization, our wheelchair-accessible van just broke down. The transmission completely failed — and this van is our only form of transportation. It’s how I’ve been getting to and from the hospital, and more importantly, it’s the only safe way to transport my daughter when she’s finally able to come home.

Without it, I don’t know how I’ll manage to get her to her follow-up appointments, therapy sessions, or even back home from the hospital. I’m overwhelmed, and I’m scared.

I’m reaching out to ask for your support. I need to raise $3000 to either repair the van or replace it with something reliable. The funds will help with:

Transmission repair or replacement of our wheelchair-accessible van

Temporary transportation while the van is out of service

Basic living expenses while I remain at the hospital with my daughter

I never imagined I’d have to write something like this. But life has knocked us down in a big way, and right now, I just want to be able to focus on my daughter’s recovery without the fear and stress of not knowing how we’ll get through this.
