Please help me attend my mom's funeral

My name is Leyla Gazdik Cook. My sister, Lucy, and I just buried our beloved father, Jozef Gazdik, this past December. Our mother, Amparo Gazdik, had been visiting Lucy (who lives in Cancun) when she became ill. She was so ill, that she was not medically cleared to travel back to the U.S.A. to attend my dad’s funeral.

My mom’s illness has progressively gotten worse, and she was diagnosed with Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer in April of this year.

In July, I traveled to Cancun to spend time with my mother and say our goodbyes. I thought that would bring us the closure we both needed.

I have video chatted with my mother almost daily and have unfortunately seen how quickly she has deteriorated. It is clear that my mom has very little time left.

I would like to return to Cancun to be with my mother when she draws her last breath, but unfortunately cannot afford to do that right now. Any help you can give to make that happen would be greatly appreciated. The funds donated would cover airfare and hotel, because I cannot stay with my sister. Anyone who knows me, knows that asking for help is one of the hardest things in the world for me to do.
