Please help me save this amazing dog

On 11/18/2019 I found a dog limping terribly on the side of the road. She was found in a location where others have abandoned their pets in the past. I was sure that she was simply lost and maybe hit by a car so I scooped her up to take her home and look for the owner. 2 days later, tons of FB shares, several knocks on neighbors doors and microchip scan later, I felt I had to do something else. She can get around but not very well, she is clearly in pain. I took her to a vet clinic and they concluded it was serious and needed imaging. At this point I turned her over to animal services because I couldn’t cover her bills and not be reimbursed if the owner showed up. Animal services let this sweet girl sit like this for 4 days waiting for someone to claim her before they did x rays. 2 days later the owner still hasn’t claimed her and the shelter lacked the means to give her the full medical treatment she needed. They said they will reach out to a rescue but if nobody could foot the bill she would be put down.

I have to save her life. This sweet girl is 1-2 years old. She is happy and tried to be playful. She will make an amazing companion and has so much more life to live. So I decided to adopt her and start praying that we can figure it out to get her the care she needs and get this poor pup out of pain.

The shelter instructed me to take her to an orthopedic surgeon. The results of the ortho consult were that she needs a right side FHO, MLP and likely a future left side FHO. The FHO operation starts at $2500 and is scheduled for Dec 14th at Summit vet, they are accepting direct donations for her there too. She will need a second surgery for a medial patella luxation on her right side. This surgery has the same price range as the FHO and both of these procedures will be followed by PT and medication. 

I know this is crazy. It’s a dog that I FOUND, I’m an unemployed student and my partner is on disability, but she is a beautiful creature that has stolen my heart. Ive got a Care Credit card and am applying for several grants and reaching out to numerous rescues. But there are not infinite resources out there, I need your help to save Jasmine.
