Please help me save penny the chihuahua

Hi friends , my name is Alison and currently live in Merthyr Tydfil , I am a disabled lady who spends a lot of time at home with my 4 dogs who are all my babies and mean the absolute world to me .

unfortunately last night one of my dogs attacked my tiny chihuahua in the garden resulting in a tear in her abdominal wall , she spent the night in Cardiff vets last night which my one paid for but unfortunately she needs an operation to repair the tear as her kidney is protruding basically if she doesn’t get the operation she is going to pass away , obviously we don’t want this to happen she’s so beautiful , myself have rung around every organization possible all morning to try get some help to pay for it but no luck , please do t judge me for asking for help I am doing this for my beautiful penny , I certainly wouldn’t put myself through this embarrassment otherwise , I don’t care what people think about me for asking , it’s my last resort so please no negative comments like I should have pet insurance etc because believe me I have learnt the hard way and no one is feeling more guilty than me ,

if anyone is willing to donate I would be so grateFull no matter how little it is , I am a massive animal lover and am heartbroken , and for those who feel the same and are not negative towards me I really am grateful as I’m not in a good place at the moment !

I am hoping g that if we are lucky enough to raise the funds that it’s done asap because I don’t know how long she will last bless her

Just an update on penny

we have been lucky enough to find somewhere that would do her operation for 1440

massive difference to 2700+ we were originally quoted

but to do this we had to travel to Shrewsbury Thursday the 9th of jan

she had the operation on the 10th of Jan had an update to

say she had come through the surgery at 6-30 am !! Then today ( 11-Jan ) I received a phone call 7-30am to say she was doing well and could come home today! So again we did the long journey to Shrewsbury and back and penny is a lot better than she originally was!

when we got to the animal hospital I had to pay another 115 pound for medication which is obviously worth it but has had. Massive impact to me financially.

the total we have paid so far is £500 to Cardiff vet Thursday the 9th

1440 Friday the 10th

115 Saturday 11th

plus fuel back and forth for both days

although saving her is worth every penny and more I am struggling and am sorry to be this person but really am grateful for all the donations received so far , thank you everyone for understanding ❤️
