Please help me save our Lacie

Lacie is our family dog and I've had her for nearly 8 years. I had pet insurance but when i moved i had to cancel and mistakenly didn't get another as Lacie has always been such a healthy dog.

It's breaking us down as she has suddenly started to go limp on her left side and in the past 12 hours deteriorated rapidly. Lacie is now more or less paralysed on her and unable to walk.

Initially the emergancy vets was clueless and gave lacie antibiotics in hope this would help her to gain more strength in her left side which has so far come to around £250. Unfortunately this didn't work, after visiting the emergancy vets this morning they have now given Lacie pain relief and now we are having to admit her to the A&E Pet hospital tomorrow for 48 hours. As you can imagine this is going to come to a big cost and we are really struggling to get the funds together to accept the further tests and scans etc.

Tomorrow, Lacie will be having x-ray, bloods, medication and fluids as a starting investigation procedure which is £719. The emergancy vets are thinking Lacie could have either a infection in her bones in her spine or Neck on the left side or this could be a bulging disc/slipped disc that could be bleeding cause pressure on her left side. If this is the case and they do a MRI scan which starts at £1400 and she does have a bulging/slipped disc she will need spinal surgery which will be costing £3000. Until we get further in the investigation we are completely lost. All I know is, I've had Lacie since she was a tiny puppy and I can't loose her or leave her in such pain. We are heartbroken with everything that is happening and any little amount would help us to save our baby.
