Please help me save my mom's home from being taken.

Hi, my name's Barbara. I've been taking care of my mom since the beginning of the year. But it didn't start that way though. I moved back in with my mom to help her with property taxes on her home, the total being over $15,000 a year. I turned into a real-life juggler, trying to pay that enormous bill and take care of her at the same time.

It went well for a few years, but she only became weaker and older as most of us do. My mother started to lose her balance and fell. The first time she fractured her hip; the second time she fractured her collarbone. It got to the point she couldn't even walk to the bathroom. So that was it. I had no choice but to take care of her full-time and lost my job. I have tried everything to get us help financially, but because she makes $1,700 a month, which is more than the $1,400 cut-off for caregiver aid, we are now losing her home that she has lived in most of her life. She is now confined to a bed and all I want is for her to be able to live out the rest of her days in her home. I am in the process of trying to sell every single thing that she owns to help her stay here. I have sold my car and everything that I own worth any value. I just need more time and that's the one thing that we don't have. If you could please find it in your heart to help me, we would forever be grateful. Thank you so much for listening to me.
