My girl Nami is the best dog in the world. She’s been my best friend through everything — through every high, every low, every tear, and every smile. She’s my heart.

A few days ago, I noticed she wasn’t herself. Today, God told me to take her to the emergency vet, and I’m so glad I listened. We found out Nami has an intestinal infection. The vet was able to stabilize her, give her fluids, and start her on antibiotics — but part of her intestine will need to be removed once the infection is under control.

The good news is that this surgery can completely fix it. It’s not about prolonging her pain — it’s about healing her so she can live a full, happy life again. The vet said it’s 100% treatable.

The hard part is the cost. Between other health issues we’ve been dealing with in our home and this unexpected emergency, we just weren’t prepared financially. Her surgery and medication are estimated to cost around $2,700.

I would never ask for help lightly. But Nami has been my family, my comfort, my reason to smile on the hardest days — and right now, she needs me. I want to give her the same love and care she’s given me all these years.
