THANK YOU WHO HELPED ME IN PHASE ONE!
I had the infected tooth and root canal removed, bone graft material inserted, and have been healing these past months. I need the next phase of this repair done soon, which includes an implant so that there is a new root to attach a replacement tooth to. Thanks for any help you can give!

Those of you who know me, already know I was poised to take care of this dental expense this year, 2020, through paying for it through sales of my handmade Flutter-Bye scarf tops. However, the events I typically sell them at have pretty much cancelled due to the pandemic...so now I have to ask for help. :/
The urgency comes from the fact that I have a lot of bone loss in my upper jaw where the front teeth are. This has been a life-long issue from an injury as a teen (*details below, if interested), but has become an emergency this year as I tried to deal with it on my own with very limited income.
I have to take care of this now because my sinuses are starting to drop into the area due to lack of bone support.
I need surgery to remove a broken root canal next to an older implant. We are trying to save the implant, get some bone growth material in there and then replace the tooth next to the original implant with another implant to shore up the area. It'll also help me to stop getting constant infections in the area and I suppose the new crown will also look nicer. Since this is also affecting my sinuses, I wonder if it'll help with my snoring problem? I'll let you know.
The immediate need is for $8,500 to do the work described.
I also need other dental work because we haven't had insurance since hubby lost his job due to disability 3 years ago (and no disability pay has shown up yet). Just before he lost his job, I was given a quote from OSU Dental School for $30,000 for all the work I needed. I went there because usually when you have students working on you, there is a savings of $ (but it takes a lot more time).
I ended up getting a 2nd opinion from the dentist who invented implants and put in my original one 35 years ago...their quote for all the work I needed done was $20,000 three years ago, but I've done a couple emergency things already (with help from friends), so I'm hoping getting everything done will still be about that much.
If we happen to raise more than the $20,000, my husband also has some dental needs and we will spend it on him.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP!!! <3
*When my adult front tooth first came in, it was chipped due to a fall. Unfortunately it happened when we had just moved to a new town, so no dentist would see me til the next day so the tooth died. I had a black chipped tooth in front for years.
Then, in junior high, a dentist was frustrated with having to do his work over again because the crown he placed turned green (porcelain must not have been made correctly) so he shoved too much cement into the root canal and it broke through and the cement started eating away at my bone.
Because of the pain, an oral surgeon discovered that my upper jaw was so compromised that it could have snapped with regular teen rough-housing, so he performed emergency surgery.
He had to open up the area, scrape out all the cement, repair the root canal, and add in bone growth material. Unfortunately, he started cutting me open before I got any anesthetics...so, yeah, I just gripped the arm rests and had that done with no pain killer. At all.
After he sewed me up (7 stitches!) (the boys at church called me "Football Face" during that time), I told them about no anesthesia. Smh. It was wild, but showed me how tough I am and I stopped using novacain for regular fillings...and had all 4 of my daughters naturally as well. I have mental ways to deal with pain and if you'd like to know them, just ask.
The good thing about me not usually using novacain is that I'm better able to show dentists the exact point of pain whenever I do have some. This has helped in this weak bone area during past issues. It also points out how much trouble I'm in today because I am in Pain in that area.
