I’m here asking for help …. my precious boy Indi needs to go Rainbow Equine for investigations / potential surgery

I have owned Indi since an 8 week old foal, as soon as I met him I knew he would be mine . He had a long journey from Belgium to the UK and has been loved ever since , he is Taz Bears best friend , they are inseparable and always so happy together .

He is a funny horse , a proper grump in his stable but he is actually really sweet and kind once you have a relationship with him , we have a special partnership and he always tries so hard for me.

Sadly Indi has been on and off lame for the past 12 months . He has had treatment and rest and we thought he had recovered in September . We competed in November scoring 69% at Novice BD and he felt amazing I was thrilled to be back out dancing together.

A few weeks later he went lame again . But much worse . By this point we have used all of our insurance and now on our own . We are currently trying new shoes and working closely with our vets and super farrier but we are not sure why he is still lame , my vet has suspicions and if correct he may need surgery .

Indi is so so special to me but we are struggling to find the funds we need to make him better . I don’t like asking for help , it’s not something I want to have to do but unfortunately we are in this position and I just want my boy to be ok ….to be happy and healthy , and hopefully for us to dance again together one day .

He is the most talented horse I’ve ever been lucky to own but all that matters right now is that he is pain free .

This is our go fund me page to initially fund towards an MRI so we can hopefully find out what is going on then potential surgery if my vets are proved right, anything you could donate would be a huge help to us .

I never thought this would happen to us and people can think what they want of me for asking for help but I’m devastated as this could be the end of our journey together which I don’t want to think about so I will do anything to try.

We would be so grateful for any support all monies will go directly towards his vet bills , any more raised will be donated to The Brooke Horse Charity.

I do work full time , I have paid for all of his medical treatment myself so far and will continue to do so , but I’m asking for help as insurance has ran out . I’ve not been able to work as much due to my dad’s cancer diagnosis last year and caring for him , he is doing much better now thankfully .

MRIs and surgery are incredibly expensive and need to be paid for upfront - If you don’t want to donate I completely understand but sadly I’ve been notified of a hateful post which has nothing to do with poor Indi , and I do pay my tax on my earnings , fully insured etc .
