Please Help Me Save CJ, my Belgian Malinois Puppy

I am selflessly asking for help to save CJ. She was one of my biggest blessings in 2023 — after having one of the most awful years of my life — people selflessly got her to me from KY, so I would have a community outside my professional life to be apart of, in hopes I could make some new friends in the dog community in PA, after being forced to re-locate for work. She is a nearly 5 month old Belgian Malinois, out of Czech imported working lines. Her registered name is IGY6 KILLSWITCH CALAMITY JANE, but everyone calls her “CJ”

I took her to BluePearl Emergency Hospital in Shillington, PA, as it was the only emergency hospital open on a Sunday, and she was diagnosed with an intestinal foreign body, and it needs to be surgically removed because she won’t pass it on her own.

The estimate BluePearl gave me to do surgery tonight around, 01/14/2024, was between $7,000-$8,500, after doing initial work up on her which was $899.50. I am happy to send anyone who wants to see the records/invoice, copies. As well as any imaging.

They referred me to Wissahickon Creek Animal Hospital, and I spoke to their emergency nurse line, and they can likely do it between $1,800-$2,500, tomorrow on 01/15/2024. Unfortunately this is a time sensitive issue, and she will die if we do nothing

She is insured, I just don’t have the free money or credit to get the services covered to help her, and no one will work on her without payment before starting the surgery

I am always the first person to help people with stuff like this — and this is an awful position to be in. This dog is a lifeline to a large part of my life outside of my professional circles, and I don’t know what I will do or what will happen if I end up losing her

Professionally, I work in industrial safety management and as a paramedic, but after everything that occurred in 2023, I am struggling to do this for CJ
