Hello everyone, my name is Ron.

I'm hoping that the kindness of strangers will allow me to keep my favorite little buddy alive. His name is Biscuit. Also "Mr. Biscuit.", or "Mr. Bubba, sir.". He's only 2 years old, and just last week had to be rushed to the vet with a sudden onset of an infection so severe, that by the time he got to the vet, he was at 27% kidney function. One more day and he'd have died. The decline was *head-spinningly* fast. Fast forward to today, and he has received blood transfusions, and is on a special prescription kidney diet. He is also on a treatment of antibiotics and medications to stimulate red blood cell production, as he was also rendered anemic by this infection, and they still haven't completely ruled out cancer. We still don't know where the infection came from, but have ruled out environmental hazards, as Biscuit has 3 sisters, and they are all in good health.

But, combine the transfusions, with the diet, the appointment fees, overnight hospital stay costs, medications ... and it's just more than i can afford with what i make. All i can do is hope that there are enough generous people out there that would be willing to spare whatever they can, to help me save my Biscuit. This little guy is my world.
