Good Day,
My name is farhan and i am on dialysis for 7 months and i am rapidly loosing weight and health, but with it i will be dead without kidney transplant.
I have lost 40 kg in 7 months and keep loosing weight, every month i get blood transfusion as my kidneys cant make blood and pee.
- I ran into emergency in may last year due to sudden pain in pancreas and hypertension.
- I was diagnosed with inflamation and reduce kidney size in novenmber at st michael hospital toronto.
- My kidneys were working at that time.
- In december 2024 i made a decision to travel to my birth place and get everything tested even though it cost me money but i was told my issue can be fixed.
- Unfortunately after few days my condition got bad and i was admitted to icu with very high urea and creatine and egfr levels, doctors did my dialysis in icu 2 times in 3 days, and ever since i am hooked on dialysis as my kidneys dont make pee and my blood get toxicated with urea and potassoim from the food and fruits i eat.
- I am now on dialysis 3 times a week and my condition is getting worse day by day.
- Doctors has advised me transplant.
- I need to relocate back to toronto in order to get in the queue of transplant.
- The current wait time is 1.5 years and i desperately need money to support my stay, mainly transport food, rent in toronto.
- The transplant and dialysis is covered by ohip, gov of canada.
- i am a donor as well and if i die in canada my organs other than kidneys will be automatically donated for someone who needs liver or lung or heart transplant.
- i am unable to fully support ongoing expensesfor relocation to get into transplant queue which is 1.5 year of waiting time once i sign the consent for transplant, hence i need some help to fund my relocation.
