Please Help Me Recover from Scam & Get a New Car

In June I was let go from my job. I was told nothing more than " We no longer need your service", so it came as quite a shock, and I have been looking for work and struggling with money since. Fortunately I have been getting some help from family and friends, but they have their own lives to fund as well. The brunt of the financial weight has now fallen onto my partner who's been working 2 jobs nonstop to help keep us afloat. I've been doing freelance art and design work while I hunt and recently was offered a job from a sketchy company. But, being desperate for work I took it.

The job ended up being a scam that took money from my account, which my bank is now trying to make me pay back out of my own pocket. Along with all this great news, my car has decided to finally give out on me. She's old and would probably cost more to repair than to replace. Throughout all of this my mental health has taken a deep dive, and has made it harder for me to keep positive while hunting for jobs. Fortunately I have some promising opportunities for work, but they don't start until next month.

Me and my partner are uncertain of if we'll be able to continue to afford living where we currently do, and would appreciate any help we can get while we try to figure out the best situation for us. Whatever anyone can contribute would be appreciated, as it'll help me get back on my feet and take some weight off of my amazing, supportive, exhausted partner.
