## Help Me Rebuild and Save Our Home After Mom's Loss
### The Heartbreak of Loss & The Fight for Our Sanctuary
A few months ago, I lost my mother-my **rock, my best friend, and my only true support system.** For years, she and I felt it was us against the world, and now I am trying to navigate that world completely alone.
The reason my mom and I moved 2,000 miles away was to find and create our **sanctuary** -a place where we could finally feel safe from conflict and start fresh. This condo became that sacred space. It was more than four walls; it was our **freedom, our safe space, and the beautiful life we built together.** Losing it now would mean losing the very dream my mom and I worked so hard to create.
In the first months, we worked hard to make this condo a home. Every detail-the couch, the dining table, every decoration-was part of the life my mom and I dreamed of. Seeing it come together was one of the happiest times of our lives, and that is why I am fighting so desperately to keep this last piece of our life together.
### A Sign from Above: "Here It Is."
Since my mom passed, I've searched for a sign that she is still with me. One day, I was looking through a set of cards when one slipped out- a card I didn't even know I owned. It featured a **butterfly**-the same symbol and colors as the compact where I carry her ashes-with the words: ***"Sign - if you are looking for a sign, here it is."***
In that moment, I felt her unconditional love flood over me. It was her way of reminding me that I am on the right path, and she is still by my side. Keeping this home matters so much because it is the sanctuary we built together, and the only space where I can still feel her presence and connection.
### Carrying the Weight Alone
Life has been incredibly difficult. I haven't had a chance to fully grieve my mom's passing while also carrying the heavy weight of financial struggles and painful family conflicts.
In the midst of my shock and emotional distress, my grief was taken advantage of. An aunt visited and, without my full awareness, listed my mom's belongings and our furniture-including **our couch and dining table**-to sell. **The condo that once felt full of love and life was left bare.**
Now, she is bullying me to sell the condo altogether-the last physical memory I have of the life my mom and I created. After already losing my mother and our possessions, being pushed to sell this empty space feels like losing her all over again.
What I'm Doing to Survive
I am doing everything I can to stay afloat. I'm applying for jobs daily, donating plasma weekly, and cutting back wherever possible. But it hasn't been enough:
* I've struggled to afford essentials like basic hygiene items, utilities, and cat food.
* I am now facing the risk of losing my home as my brother needs to be bought out of his share of the property.
Without help, I could lose the only safe space I have left-the home my mom and I fought so hard to keep.
### Why I'm Asking for Your Support
This is not easy for me to ask. I have always been independent, but I've reached a point where I can't do this alone.
**My Financial Goals are broken down into two parts:**
Goal | Amount | Purpose | :---|:---|:---|
**Immediate Need** | **$5,000** | To cover urgent utility bills, purchase basic essentials (food, hygiene, cat supplies), and stabilize my immediate living situation while I secure full-time employment. |
| **Full Goal** | **$120,000** | To buy out my brother's share of the condo, cover necessary fees and costs, secure my home, honor my mom's dream, and give me the stability needed to finally grieve and rebuild my life. |
Every bit of support-a donation, or simply sharing this campaign-brings me closer to keeping my home, honoring my mom's legacy, and finally finding stability again.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story. Your kindness is not just a donation; it is a lifeline that gives me hope to move from just surviving to truly rebuilding the life my mom and I envisioned.
