Please Help Me Rebuild After Losing My Wife, Linda

My name is Bob, and I am a disabled senior who recently experienced the heartbreaking loss of my wife, Linda. My beloved Linda passed away on March 18, 2026, after battling stage IV pancreatic and liver cancer for a year. She passed in my arms as I played and sang her favorite songs to her—something I will cherish forever.

Linda was an incredible woman who gave so much of herself to others. After retiring from a 40-year career in the airline industry, she immediately dedicated her time to helping those in need. She volunteered for many years with Friends of Greyhounds in Hialeah and Dachshund Rescue of South Florida. She helped approve adoption applications, supported families, organized fundraisers, and was always willing to do whatever was needed.

Together, we also visited hospitals and nursing homes with our therapy dogs, including Mikey, 3–4 days a week to bring comfort to others. Even with all she gave, Linda still worked part-time at Lowe’s in the finance office, where she was loved by everyone who knew her.

Linda had a heart full of kindness and compassion. The goodness in her soul was truly limitless.

Since her passing, I am now facing life alone. I am doing my best to cope with the grief and loneliness, but it has also brought overwhelming physical, emotional, and financial challenges. I am struggling to cover funeral expenses, medical bills, and everyday living costs as I try to adjust to this new reality.

I never could have imagined how devastating it would be to lose my spouse. It is far more difficult than I can put into words.
