I never imagined I would be writing something like this.

My mother is currently in a coma in the United States of America, Detroit, Michigan. Everything happened so suddenly on New Years Eve, and the distance between us, with me in Melbourne, Australia, has made this incredibly painful. Right now, more than anything in the world, I need to be by her side — to hold her hand, speak to her, and be there in case she wakes, or simply so she is not alone.

Unfortunately, the cost of urgent travel, accommodation, and time away from work is more than I can manage on my own. Flights, transport, and basic living expenses add up quickly, especially when travel needs to happen immediately and without warning.

My mum has always been there for me — offering love, support, and strength when I needed it most. Now she needs me, and I am doing everything I can to reach her.

I am asking for help so I can travel as soon as possible to be with my mother during this critical time. Any contribution, no matter how small, will help ease the financial burden and allow me to focus on what truly matters: being there for her.
