Hi, my name is Lydia, please help me fund raising money to get a "Lifebloom" Exoskeleton wheelchair for my mum.

In October 2021, my mother had a terrible stroke, leaving her paralysed in all her left side (Arm/leg).

Prior this sad event, my mum was fairly active and very independent. She loved dancing, visiting friends and family, always on the move...

Being stuck at home now, has a real negative impact in her mental health. Luckily, she has kept her witty sense of humour and her warm personality.

We think that if she could regain the ability to walk independently, this will be a big improvement to her life.

My brother is constantly pushing for her to stand up and try to "walk", filming all her efforts. He has sent the videos to Lifebloom and they have agreed that with their wheelchair, my mum could certainly walk again.

This was a very positive response, however, as only few hospitals or private individuals are selected to have the use of these wheelchairs, this special wheelchair is very expensive but life changing. it has proven to increase the rehabilitation and enabled early remobilization. It allows wheelchair users to stand and walk with more autonomy.
