HI, my name is Phillip V Cruz Jr, and I need to leave Guam for an off-island ablation surgery (a form of open heart-surgery), which can't be done in Guam. Three and half years ago, I received a cardioversion to correct the off-beat rhythm of my heart. It has been corrected, but there has been an increase in my heart palpitations that has earned me multiple hospital admittance. Due to this, my cardiologists has created a referral for an ablation surgery. I will need to use the money for medical expenses and the plane ticket. I would like to go to Hawaii for the ablation surgery, since it is closer.
I am not sure when I will be leaving, but I am hoping to leave sometime in late June. I am just waiting for the paperwork to be completed. I will keep you all posted. Thank you and God bless!
It's tough having to fundraising to save your own life.
Update as of 8/31/2024
I have been admitted twice to Guam Regional Medical City for the same reason: high heart palpitations. I was shocked twice the first time, and there is a possibility of a third shock. I am need to leave to Hawaii soon for heart surgery, but I can't do this alone, please help me to continue raising funds so I can get to Hawaii. Please donate/share this campaign. Thank you and God bless!

March Procedure in Los Angeles
I wanted to share an important update with everyone who has supported me, prayed for me, and stood by me during this journey.
After many setbacks with life and additional health challenges, I’ve finally received clear medical guidance. As advised by my cardiologist, I will be traveling to Los Angeles in March to undergo my heart ablation procedure at Keck.
This hasn’t been an easy road. There were delays, complications, and moments where it felt like progress kept getting pushed back. But this next step is necessary—for my health, my recovery, and my ability to move forward with life.
Your support has meant more than I can ever put into words. Every donation, share, message, and prayer has helped carry me through the uncertainty and stress of this process. I’m deeply grateful.
As I prepare for travel, medical expenses, and recovery, I truly appreciate any continued support—whether through donating, sharing this fundraiser, or keeping me in your thoughts and prayers.
Thank you for believing in me and
walking this road with me.
With gratitude and hope,
Phillip
