My name is Lani the neo mastiff. I am a rescue dog who was adopted by my parents when I was a 1 year old and I am now 9.
My parents describe me as the most loving, sweetest and gentle natured pooch they have ever met.
Sadly my parents were told, after finding a large lump under my neck that I have cancer ( lymphoma). The lump under my neck is now two cricket ball sized and also now in both my shoulders. I have severely lost weight despite my huge appetite.
Despite the odds, with the love of my parents and my strong will to live, I've made it to a year with cancer diagnosis which is incredible! Sadly though now, I'm too weak to be strong anymore. I have no energy, I can't make it to the toilet outside which concerns me as it's the one time I will try and run to the door, my eyes are sad, I drool pools of slober as I'm uncomfortable and Im pretty certain it's time for me to say bye now.
Unfortunately with all the expenses my parents have endured, they have run out of savings and it will take time to make it up again but I'm too uncomfortable to wait that long. My parents want to say goodbye in our own home surrounded by my 6 human brothers and sisters as well as my doggy and cat brother and sister as my happiness is in this home.
My parents will need to have me cremated after due to my size and to have a memory to keep forever.
Please help my parents and I do what's best for me so I can finally be at peace.
Thank you
