Thank you for helping me pay the veterinarian

The goal has been reached - can we take it farther? All amounts received over the original goal will be given to Pet Helpers Port Townsend, which helps pay for veterinary care for pets of low-income people in Jefferson and Clallam Counties. (This GoFundMe was posted because this sweet kitty's owner called me from Snohomish County but Pet Helpers covers Jefferson and Clallam counties. The kitty's owner was laid off and he had zero money to pay a veterinarian. Without payment in advance, the emergency clinic in his county would not take the kitty - that's what all the emergency clinics require now. He had a urinary blockage for 3 days and was dying because he could not empty his bladder. I could not let that happen to that cat or his owner, so I paid the vet with my own credit card, and it saved this kitty's life. I have the full disclosure of the invoice from the veterinarian for anyone requesting it.)

I am deeply grateful to all who have donated for this kitty, and for all additional donations, which will support Pet Helpers Port Townsend so we can continue assisting with veterinary care for pets of homeless and underfunded pet owners in this community.
