Tonight I had to take my beloved puppy, Mo, to the emergency vet clinic. He managed to get in to some medicine while I was out of the house for a few hours. He ingested an incredibly toxic amount and requires intense medical care and medication over the next few days to ensure that his kidneys don't fail. He was abandoned on Maui and I signed up to foster him and failed just 3 days later. Rescuing him was one of the best decisions I ever made! He is the sweetest puppy in the whole world and I love him so much. He is an essential part of my 'ohana and with no hesitation I agreed to pay what was necessary to keep my best friend a part of my life.
