I was just notified that I have cancer in my left breast and the lymph nodes underneath my left armpit. I have a long road ahead of me with future surgeries, treatments and recovery. I was trying to be proactive and handle my affairs but discovered that I don't have short-term or long-term disability on my job, so I will only have unpaid FMLA leave that will protect my job. I am on a mission to win my fight with cancer because I have more living to do, but I can't focus on healing if I'm worried about trying to keep my rent and bills paid over the next few months. All I ask is that if you are willing and can help, please do. I have been trying to find resources to no avail. Please help me out while I kick cancer's butt!!! Thank you in advance!!
