Hello everyone,

I'm reaching out to you all today to humbly ask for your help. As the person who is the one usually caring for others, this is hard for me to do but the continued deterioration of my physical health and painful mobility challenges makes it necessary.

The past year has been extremely difficult for me both physically and emotionally. Due to two separate injuries late in 2023 I have lost a significant amount of strength and function in both my right knee and right shoulder/arm (I'm right handed). These injuries, along with my already challenging Fibromyalgia, migraines, breathing issues, and dystonia (my latest diagnosis) have placed me on long term disability and I have no idea if I will ever truly get better since most of these conditions are considered permanent.

Because of my ongoing physical difficulties I have been force to say goodbye to my life's work of caring for infants, toddlers, and their families. I went from working my dream job at the best child care program I've ever known to being forced to lay in bed most of my day because to step away from it, even for a few moments, sends jolts of searing pain throughout my legs that builds in intensity with each passing second until I collapse in agony, unable to take another step. I tell you all this to explain why I so desperately need your help right now.

My children and I are in the process of trying to move into a ground floor apartment from our second story unit. Though we've loved our peaceful new space for the past year and a half, having to climb that 16 step flight of stairs, sometimes several times a day, is excruciatingly painful and difficult for me. Luckily our property management is very understanding of my health situation and is making possible for us to change units without breaking our 12 month lease.

The one problem for us is the $1,100 deposit+transfer fee and $2,837 first month's rent we need to make the move (There will be a cross over in the move-out and move-in dates so we will have to pay rent at both apartments for at least part of the first month).

Thank you all for taking the time to listen to my story. Your caring and generous support really means the world to me
