Hello,
My name is Donna Fasulo and I am 61 years old and disabled and I've had 5 spine fusions.
I lost my job this past October, had spine surgery in November and had an emergency gall bladder surgery this past February. Also very soon will be scheduled for spine surgery # 6. I have not been able to get another job since both surgeries, because I believe interviewers see me with a rollator walker attached to me and don't want to hire me. I have been on many, many interviews with no luck.
My unemployment ran out in April and my landlord had me served with a Notice To Quit. There's no court date yet, and I haven't been evicted as of yet but the process has started.
I have no money coming in. I am on food assistance but it's not enough. Social security disability benefits are in the works but that takes a while. But in the meantime I need help with bills I need to pay for, and food that I don't have extra money for, and to find a new place to live as soon as possible so that I am not out on the streets. As a disabled person, I won't make it.
I know money is very tight for everyone. But even if you can help out with just a little bit, I would forever be grateful and blessed. Thank you.
