Please Help Me Leave A Toxic Environment Abroad

I moved to my husband's home country (UK) so that he can be with his 75+ parents. It was a decision I made not for myself but for him and them because it was very important to my husband. I have been here for 7 months now, and it has been a nightmare. When my husband isn't available to care for or do things for his parents, I gladly step in even when not asked. I left behind my life back in the States, and it was a sacrifice I did not take lightly. I have been subject to verbal abuse at the hands of his father (with no sense of true regret or apology), and both my husband and his other family condone the behavior. I am expected to let this roll off my back and not let it faze me. I gave everything I had to be here, and my repayment has been nothing but pain, gaslighting, and betrayal. We all make mistakes and do things, but accountability and commitment to changed behavior are necessary after the offense. I have not received that from those who promised to love, care, and protect me.

I also have struggled to secure a steady job, which makes me reliant on my husband's income. I am asking for help in getting me back home. I made the decision to bring my rescue dog with me because this was supposed to be a long-term move. This is why the donation goal is a bit higher. I have always been able to help myself, and being dependent upon others is not a regular thing for me. I trusted someone with my vulnerability and my heart, who ultimately does not value it.
