Euthanasia & cremation for Sophia

Oftentimes, life can throw things at us that make us question why, and today it did just that to our family. I find myself at the mercy of each and every one of you that can pray, share, and donate to help my sweet Sophia! She is a 12-year-old Chihuahua whom we've had since birth.

While on a walk today with Sophia and her brother P'Nut, we were approached by a large, unleashed Pit Bull. Sophia reacted in a way that was unexpected to me, causing me to lose control of her leash, therefore letting her escape from me. Upon trying to recall her back to me, she slipped and fell down a steep embankment, breaking her back in a “U” shape.

The vet and I have come to the conclusion that it would be best to euthanize her ASAP, and I would love more than anything to have her cremated. I am not currently in a financial spot to afford this tragic loss as my husband has been out of work for 3 weeks due to Lyme disease and anaplasmosis (two tick-borne diseases). If you could please help me give my Sophia the proper end to her life and be able to bring her home, I would be forever grateful. Thank you to all who have taken the time to read, share, and donate.
