I never like putting my problems out into the world or asking for help, so this isn't easy for me but: I need help and it's urgent! Recently, I found out the rear running lights on my car aren't working at night, meaning I cannot be seen from the rear AT ALL in the dark. Brought it in to the mechanic thinking, hoping it was only a fuse but it turns out my whole TIPM needs to be replaced. TIPM or Totally Integrated Power Module is a computer-like component that runs the whole electrical system of my car. I'm a Home Health Aide and recently I started to work per diem with my CNA license for a medical staffing agency. This means I travel A LOT for work, and unfortunately many of my shifts are evening and night shifts. I was using my father's car for my later shifts until very recently when the engine on his car seized, meaning he had to junk it. I've been pulled over a few times now and the police were nice enough to let me off with warnings, but last night when I was again pulled over, I received a written warning and was told next time the car would be impounded. Money is currently very tight. I love my job but it's unfortunately not the highest paid profession. I'm battling debt/student loans and I'm playing catch up after being out of work for a month for mental health reasons, hence why I'm now working two jobs. I'm just looking to try and raise the price quoted to me to fix my car problem: $1500.00. If you could spare anything at all, even one dollar, I'd be forever greatful. Without my car I can't work. Without my car my father also can't get around to do the things he needs to do I his daily life since we're now sharing. Without my car my whole life suffers. So please I'm BEGGING for any/all help!
