My name is E'CASANOVA, and this is the hardest thing I have ever written. For most of my life, I've been known as an entertainer—a Michael Jackson tribute artist who has spent more than 25 years bringing joy, music, and hope to audiences around the world. I've always believed in working hard, standing on my own two feet, and giving more than I receive. Today, I'm asking for help because my life depends on it.
I have been diagnosed with Stage IV metastatic prostate cancer. The cancer has spread to my lower lumbar spine and my back, and every day has become more difficult than the one before it. There are days when I can barely walk because of the pain. I've lost a tremendous amount of weight and much of the strength that once allowed me to perform on stage. Looking in the mirror is heartbreaking because I barely recognize the person staring back at me.
My medical team has done everything they can within the treatments available to them. I have been told that I need to pursue aggressive treatment beyond what is currently available through my care. That has left me searching for additional options—and hoping for more time. I am not ready to give up. I still have dreams I want to fulfill. I still want to perform again. I still want to continue inspiring others through my work, and leave behind a legacy of hope, perseverance, and love. Most importantly... I don't want to die.
I'm asking for your help so I can focus on fighting instead of worrying about how I'll pay for the care I need. Your generosity will help provide: additional medical consultations and treatment options, travel expenses if specialized care requires me to leave my area, housing, utilities, groceries, and other essential living expenses while I'm unable to work consistently, and the opportunity to continue the creative projects that have defined my life's work.
This campaign is an act of faith and humility. It has taken everything in me to admit that I cannot do this alone. Whether you can give or simply share my story with others, every act of kindness matters. Every prayer matters. Every message of encouragement reminds me that I am not fighting this battle by myself. Thank you for believing in me—not just as a performer, but as a human being who is doing everything possible to keep going. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for giving me hope. With love and gratitude, E'CASANOVA
