Hello. Finally a hip revision surgery date is set, February 12. Thank you for the donations that poured in, in December. They were a great help for all of the cash expenses I incurred going through the medical process in Costa Rica. This month the process began again in Texas with a new deductible and out of pocket maximums.

I just counted, I attended 16 medical appointments since January 1st here in Dallas. They have had real difficulty determining why the hip replacement failed. Hence a barrage of tests, imagings, scans and consults were done. I am now diagnosed and scheduled for revision surgery.

But I must ask again for help. The out of pocket expenses are in the five figures. What normally would be expenses I could manage are out of my reach after the large sums of money spent on the prior surgeries in Costa Rica without insurance. Someone said to me, "we are on this earth to help one another". Now II have encountered my time of need. In the future when I am approached for help, I wont look away, because I now have this experience. Please donate, large or small. And celebrate with me this spring as I put this difficult experience behind me.
