Please Help to Support Jaxon!

Donation protected
For those of you who have had the pleasure of meeting Jaxon, I should not have to say much. For those of you who haven't, I can't even begin to explain how much joy my pup has and how much joy he has given me over our 10+ years together.

I picked Jaxon up at only 8 weeks old. There was no question in my mind that he was mine. My father came with me and it was a very memorable experience for us. It has always been Jax and I. He's traveled the nation with me. He's gone up mountains and swam in the ocean. Yes, he may have a habit of eating certain "items" and causing me a few scares throughout the years, but he's never had any major emergencies and for that I am so thankful. Jaxon has lived a tremendous life and I am not ready to say goodbye to him just yet.

This is a request for donation to help me cover the cost of his treatment. I have already paid over $6,000 within 24 hours. As a single woman living in San Diego, I find myself questioning if I can continue to stay in this amazing city. If you are able to donate anything at all, big or small, it would be the biggest support ever. If you aren't able to donate, then we ask that you just pray for us. Keep us in your thoughts during this time.

Here's the story:

Jaxon was rushed to the vet yesterday as he had an episode where his whole body was shaking, he was off balance, couldn't get himself up if laying down, and wasn't eating.

Unfortunately, I found out that Jaxon had a tumor attached to his spleen and it ruptured causing internal bleeding and a lot of pain. They took him into surgery to remove the mass and the spleen. The mass is being sent out to labs so we can find out if it is benign or malignant.

Jaxon is still in the hospital recovering. He's hooked up to a catheter and having irregular heart beats. They will continue to observe him in hopes that he can come home tonight for the rest of his recovery. He is being strong and the medical team say that he is the happiest and sweetest pup. They can't believe he's 10.5 years old.

The results of his cancer screening will come back in 5-7 business days, probably longer with the holiday. Let's all think positive thoughts and remain just as goofy and fun loving as he is as we get through this incredibly difficult time.
