I am reaching out to you with the heaviest of hearts, seeking your kindness and support during an incredibly difficult time for my best friend and family. If you know my Pip and Fi you know they would never ask for any support, they without question, will always give you there last - their last tea bag, last £1, last biscuit out of the tin always making sure you know you are cared for, and always put first. They are just like their mumma in that way.

On the 21st June they experienced the most unimaginable loss, the sudden passing of their beautuful momma, our Shell, she was found on the bathroom floor by her 87 year old mother due to an arteriovenous malformation (AVM) rupture.

Shell was not just a mother and nanny but a beacon of warmth and love in the lives of so many people, she dedicated her life to fostering, opening her heart and home to countless waifs and strays. She was a beacon of hope for those in need, a shoulder to cry on and a warming soul to cuddle to both human and animal—offering them a safe haven where they could find solace and belonging. After years of nurturing at home she took on The New Spires pub in Coventry, where she created a warm and inviting space full of laughter, and everyone was embraced like family. Yet, despite her tireless efforts to uplift others, she faced her own tragedy, leaving a hole in the lives of those she loved and the community she had so lovingly built. Her absence is a haunting reminder of how short life is, and of the profound impact one person can have, and the love that continues to resonate in the hearts of those she touched.

Shell had a beautiful wish—to be scattered on a beach, a special place that brought her joy in her early 20's with her sister. It was her dream to be set free among the waves, surrounded nature and to be free in the wind. As the girls navigate through this overwhelming grief, I want to help honor her memory in the way she envisioned.

To fulfill Shell's wish, I have started a GoFundMe campaign to try and raise the funds to give to her girls so they can put it towards giving mumma bear a memorable send off with the scattering of her ashes at a beach that held special significance to her. I want to help create a beautiful and heartfelt farewell, one that reflects the love she had for her daughters and the countless lives she touched.

I understand that times are tough for everyone, but any contribution, no matter how small, would mean the world. Your generosity will not only help us honor Shell’s final wish but will also provide some support to her daughters as they navigate this painful journey of loss and ensure they can give her the perfect ending to a very sad story.
