Help Hansen’s Family during Terry’s recovery

  “It’s time for an update on Terry.  He has been very busy the last 3 months visiting a list of 15 doctors, but triumphantly, it  has dwindled down to 5!  The last ten days there has been a lull in appointments and they are most grateful for the “break”.     

  As his memory has improved, (he continues struggling with some aphasia), his strength has improved as well and he can manage without his walker.  The mass on his pituitary is “ok” and will not need surgery at this time.  His pacemaker has fixed his sick sinus syndrome of which we are very grateful.  He is down to yearly visits.

  Through other testing, however, it was discovered he has lymphoma. The oncologist said he would not need chemotherapy but the recent pet scan showed two very  large lymph nodes, one being in his lung, by his heart.  He is awaiting the results of other tests to determine if he will need to undergo chemotherapy, in December.   

  Even with the latest diagnosis, we are encouraged he is moving in the right direction.  The Hansen family thanks you for your support and continued prayer.  May God bless your hearts!”
