PLEASE HELP ME HELP LUCY LU GET THROUGH AND HOME

This is Kimy. I am the proud adopter of Lucy Lu. She was rescued 8 months ago from a hoarded trailer where she spent her life fighting rats and roaches for her food. No one even knows how long this precious little girl was there for sure but it was years.

She was found and rescued in February by a wonderful woman. She had to have all of her hair cut off she was so matted. She then had to have major surgery to have all of her teeth removed as they were all rotted or broken below the gum line and the gum had grown closed over them leaving her mouth one entire pus pocket. She made it through that surgery only to have an abscess rupture on her throat due to the infection that had been within her mouth. She also made it through that. Once she was nursed back to health and learned it was okay to trust people I was the lucky one chosen to be Lucy Lu's mother forever.

The last 4 months have been simply amazing watching her grow into the lively trusting little 9 lb girl that she is. She has two sisters she adores and has made our house whole.

Unfortunately we have been placed in a position where me must ask for others to help us make Lucy Lu whole again.

A few days ago Lucy Lu became ill very quickly. She could not breathe and was found to have a twisted lung lobe or what is known as lung torsion.

She is currently in the ICU soft tissue surgery unit (organ removal) at UC Davis veterinarian hospital in California. Yesterday she had a CT scan and major surgery opening her chest and removing the twisted lung lobe. She did very well through surgery.

Unfortunately from when this all started a few days ago and she tried to vomit she unfortunately inhaled it into her lungs and now has double pneumonia. This means that not only is the lung she just had surgery on and partially removed affected but also her good lung is affected. She is fighting it as much as she can with aggressive antibiotics. She is on 24-hour oxygen support well her lung has time to heal from the surgery and now also due to the double pneumonia.

After only 8 months of knowing what a life of freedom and not having to fight with rats and roaches to eat there was no way I could not give this little girl every chance she had. I just could not justify that she could go straight from already living in hell directly to heaven. I therefore have given everything I have. I have spent $15,000 in the last 48 hours for this precious girl to have every opportunity she possibly has and deserves.

The next 3 days she will need critical Care above and beyond what she is already receiving to get her through this to the other side. Sadly we are now to the point where we need help.

Lucy Lu has already spent her time in hell and I am kindly asking that anyone who could possibly donate or share this anywhere they think someone would possibly donate to help me help Lucy.
