Please help me help Jay

Hello friends of Jay Romano I am asking for your help ! All of us who know and love Jay know how much he gives of himself rather it be working with at risk youth , coaching boxing or working with developmentally disabled individuals he has always been a protector and advocate and a loving friend he is more like a brother to me ! After visiting Jay at his home a few weeks back I witnessed just how much he is going thru on a daily basis it broke my heart to see him struggle to stand and even walk . Jay is unable to use his hands and arms to get up or down ! A shoulder replacement surgery will be scheduled this month for his left shoulder and then he will have his right shoulder replacement, resulting in a year of recovery. His doctors are looking at options for back surgery (a cage) as well All of this has triggered his ptsd resulting in severe depression and anxiety. Most shocking and heartbreaking to me was that Jay has been struggling with agoraphobia which is the fear of leaving your house . With his physical and emotional issues and very limited income after being let go at his job of 17yrs unfortunately he will not be able to support himself through all of this . I know times are tough for us all but I know we can come together to help someone special like Jay.
