Beans is currently going through his second Intervertebral Disc Disease (IVDD) flare up. Unfortunately it’s inevitable that this will keep happening and may cause permanent paralysis (or worse) unless he gets the surgery he so desperately needs. He is currently on crate rest as it is extremely difficult and painful for him to walk and he is staying separate from his brother and sister. He is taking steroids, gabapentin and a muscle relaxer to keep him as comfortable as possible but it’s seeming to help less and less as his condition worsens. We are carefully monitoring him and are trying to keep him as still as possible because with even the slightest movements he wails out in excruciating pain. It’s been a rough year for us with quite a few unexpected twists and turns so out of desperation I am very humbly asking for any help so that he can permanently be relieved of his pain and go back to being the spunky boy I know - weather that be a donation or a share to get across to more people. It breaks my heart to have to watch my baby boy in such pain when I know he wants to be playing with his brother and sister, going for walks and doing all the things he loves. This is our last resort, anything helps and we appreciate anything & everything!!!

• A little about Beans •

Beans is a one of a kind little boy who stole my heart the moment I met him. He had a very rough life before he made his way to me - spending the first few years of his life on the streets in Mexico until somebody decided to give him a better chance at life. He then spent 6 months in the hospital recovering from the abuse he faced and all that came with living outside for so long until he was cleared to cross the boarder, only to be in a shelter for 6 months until I was lucky enough to rescue him and give him the life he deserves!! He is sassy, he is sweet and his personality sure does not match his size!

If you know Beans you know he’s a special little guy who’s afraid of the wind and everyone he meets due to his past - besides his mom & dad. Behind closed doors my Beans is the spunkiest, sweetest most lovable boy there is and I am so blessed that he chose me to share his true self with. Please please help me get my boy back to being himself!!!
