With great sadness, I share the news my mother, Peggy De Palm, passed away on 1-9-2021 from natural causes in Los Angeles, California. 2020 was especially hard on her as she was negatively impacted financially and was living a transient lifestyle. She was found in a transient motel. Her body is being held at the LA County Coroner. We have 20 days to retrieve her body and lay her to rest.  in May 2020, I lost my Grandmother Lydia Garcia to Covid-19. These are truly trying times.

As many of you know, I live in NYC and find it difficult to manage my mother’s affairs from afar logistically, financially, and emotionally. As this news was totally unexpected, I am finding myself ill-prepared to financially manage the burden that this is causing. As her only surviving son, I will do all in my power to properly lay her to rest.

With that said, I am reaching out to the community to see if there is any way to humbly solicit contributions to her funeral fund. Any help, financial, logistical, emotional, is greatly appreciated. This is an exceedingly difficult time for me, and I am managing as best I can.
