Please help me during the Teachers' Strike in PDX

Hi, I'm Jenny Rowe and I'm a full-time substitute teacher who was out of work due to the Portland Association of Teachers' strike that started Nov 1.

Recently I saw a dog run into busy MLK traffic, get hit twice, and when I foolishly ran after to help, I was bitten badly. I am still being treated for the complicated injury and it's painful. I haven't been able to bartend or nanny small kids, the jobs I've always done.

I'm letting the reality set in and I'm in bad shape. I'll figure it out, but it being the holidays...I'm just scared. I've never crowdfunded for myself before and WOW is it uncomfortable.
