My name is Rose, and I am the proud mum of my beautiful 10-year-old Chocolate Border Collie, Hagrid.

If you know me, you'll know what Hagrid means to me. He isn't "just a dog"—he's my family, my best friend, my constant companion, and my whole world. The thought of losing him is heartbreaking.

For several months, Hagrid has been in severe pain. He struggles with his back legs, and we've been searching for answers. So far, he has undergone numerous examinations and tests, which have shown arthritis in both his hips and knees. He has been prescribed anti-inflammatory medication and pain relief, but sadly, nothing has eased his pain.

Today we saw a specialist, and the news was devastating. There is now a strong possibility that Hagrid has either a tumour affecting his spine or another serious spinal condition involving the nerves in his back.

The next step is urgent. Hagrid needs a CT scan as soon as possible so his specialist can determine exactly what is causing his pain and whether treatment or surgery is possible.

The cost of the CT scan is $4,000.

I've done everything I can for my boy, but I've reached the point where I simply can't do this alone. Asking for help is incredibly difficult for me, but Hagrid deserves every chance to get the answers he needs.

All monies raised will go toward paying for Hagrid's medical bills, medications, and surgeries.
