Please Help Me Get Better — Love from Marley

Hello everyone,

My name is Marley, and if you’ve ever walked along Willow Street in Llangollen, there’s a good chance you’ve met me before. For the past three and a half years, I was the fluffy little cat sitting outside my home on my lead — watching the world go by and greeting everyone who passed. So many of you stopped to give me a smile, a kind word, or a gentle hello. You could even say I was the Willow Street Star Greeter.

A Big Change & A Tough Time

Recently, my owner and I have had to move to a new home, and while we’re still local, the change has been very stressful for both of us. I miss seeing all my friends on Willow Street, but I’m trying to settle in and be brave.

Unfortunately, just as we were adjusting, I started to feel poorly. I’ve been in discomfort and not quite myself, so my owner took me to the vet — and they found a lump that needs to be removed as soon as possible.

The Surgery I Need

The surgery is really important to stop it from getting worse or spreading, but it’s also quite expensive. We’re hoping to raise funds to cover the operation, vet appointments, and aftercare I’ll need to recover fully. Our total goal is £2,000 for my surgery and care, but GoFundMe will show smaller milestones along the way to help celebrate progress — every step brings me closer to getting better!

My owner is heartbroken and worried about me, but she’s doing everything she can to help. She’ll be posting updates here on my GoFundMe page so that everyone can follow along and know how I’m doing throughout my recovery.
