Hello, my name is Ariana Pinto and I really appreciate you taking a moment to read my story. I am a college student and I have POTS which means postural Orthostatic tachycardia syndrome. POTS is a chronic condition that causes a number of symptoms when I transition from lying down to standing up, such as fast heart rate, dizziness, and fainting spells. POTS can't coordinate the balancing act of blood vessel constriction squeezing and heart rate response, this also means my body can't keep my blood pressure steady and stable.

I've had my condition for 5-6 years and it has greatly affected my daily living and tasks. I've been struggling with getting through college, getting to many places, and daily tasks. I have tried many medicines since there is no cure but unfortunately none have them have helped.

Having a service dog will be beneficial for me and my daily tasks since my mom is a full time nurse and my best friend is not always around to help me. The money for this cause will only be towards the service dog.
