Please help me get a companion dog.

Hello, my name is Nora, and I am trying to get a companion dog. I live alone, and have no visitors. I am home all the time, and could really use the company. Someone to go on walks with, and just to talk to, watch tv with. My mental health is really struggling these days. I have lived alone for over 10 years, and when you don't use your mind a lot, it tends to lose it's abilities pretty quickly. My doctor suggested this to me, and I told her that I already thought of that, but can not afford to get one. She suggested I go online and make a GoFundMe account. So here I am.
