Please help me finish my Silverballer replica

Hi, my name is Alex. For most of you I am known as badeaguard from the Hitman forum and I'm here today because I need help from the community to finish my replica.

For those instead who don't know me or about my project this is my story...

In 2015 I wanted to fulfill an old childhood dream to own a Silverballer. It's the iconic pistol this main character has but there was nothing on the market to buy or anything that resembled one so I started to build one by my own.

I started at first with very little trying to only recreate the looks but with time I developed a passion to achieve a more identical look, a better quality build, till the burning desire to make it perfect and identical exactly as you see it in the same game.

And I have spent a lot of money on it. At some point during the whole process I had this crazy idea that if a part or an accessory is nowhere to be found on the market because it doesn't exist then I will create it from nothing perfect as it should be, replicating every line and every curb in the exact dimension with the same precise depth just as we see it in the wallpapers. And I manage to achieve that thanks to the 3D printing technology.

All the pieces from this replica are printed in titanium. Very expensive but at the same time absolutely precise because that is all that I want my project to be.

In 5 years I spend without exaggerating almost 8.000€ if not a little more on my work and I did it all by myself with my own money I earned working as a Hotel night porter and I don't regret a penny spent because even when I made mistakes, when I had to do everything again from the start it made my knowledge grow more pushing me to do better.

In 2019 I was almost at the finish line. My dream was almost ready to be complete I was at the very last stages and then the pandemic came...

I lost my job of 11 years as a night porter because with everyone locked inside their houses the Hotel industry couldn't stay open. The money I had saved away went out on rent, bills and food waiting for all this to be over so I can go back again to the job I loved.

But that day never came and when it did it was only for 2 months right before the second lockdown and there I was again on the bottom.

But if there is one thing Agent 47 tough me is to adapt to every situation and eventually I found a new job months later in a factory. A sector totally different from where I came from.

I was really happy because I could pick up again my project but that happiness faded away because what I was earning was just enough to pay what I listed above adding this time car gas to reach work in another city. At the end of the month if I was careful maybe I could save away 100 or 200€. Unfortunately not enough to continue my work.

I stopped everything for about a year then one day I decided to take it out from where I left it in the closet to have it near me while I was playing Hitman and there I found that it was starting to rust.

It broke my heart because there was a time where in my head all I had in mind is the next move on how to make it perfect and now here I am looking at it how it's going bad.

That is why I open this fund raising today. To ask the Hitman community who knows the passion I putted into this project for help.

I fixed a goal of 700€ which I doubt I can even reach.

500€ is for the engraving company that I still have to pay from a year ago. The person in charge of my project has a huge admiration for my passion about details and he know well my situation so he told me to not worry and when I will be ready I can pay.

I feel ashamed about it because it's a year that I have to pay and I didn't manage to save that amount away in all this time.

Instead the other 200€ will be the half of the other part I'm hoping to add for the final touch of re finishing the surface of the printed titanium parts.

All the money donated will go only and only on the Silverballer project. I promise nothing of the amount donated will go on anything else that has nothing to do with this project.

If you want to donate but have problems yourself in your personal life please don't do it. Keep it for something important that could help you instead. My project is sitting inside the closet for a year and it can stay there a little bit longer. Eventually things will go back to normal for me as well and who knows maybe I will be wealthy enough to make a second Silverballer.
