Please help me find answers to resolve IC BPS

Hi, my name is Amy and I am a busy mom, business owner and nail artist. I’ve suffered with recurrent urinary tract infections for the majority of my life. A few years ago my symptoms have increased and are nearly constant. I was officially diagnosed with a condition called interstitial cystitis or bladder pain syndrome. It is an extremely painful chronic condition with no known cure. There are many treatments but finding a treatment that works has been costly and all consuming. I’ve exhausted efforts to find a cause for my condition through multiple urologists, expensive prescriptions (some of which can cause permanent blindness called pigmentary maculopathy), surgery, visits with gynecologists, physical therapists, chiropractors, dietary restrictions and still suffer from recurrent infections and chronic pain. It has been an uphill battle with insurance company to cover all of it.   It has taken control of my life and that of my family. This illness has affected not only my quality of life but my mental health has suffered as well.

I’d like to raise money to help pay for some of my medical bills as having a chronic illness has been a financial burden to my family, and it has become increasingly difficult to continue fighting and advocating for answers and a solution knowing that the medical bills keep coming. I have two great kiddos that need their mama, a husband that needs his best friend back and I miss my smile and enjoying time with friends and family without pain and wondering if we will ever find relief.
