Hi everyone,

My name is Kristie, and I’m writing this with a very heavy heart.

My dog Jax has been my baby, my best friend, and my constant source of love for the past 10 years.

We’ve been through everything together. He’s the one who has been by my side through every move, every challenge, every moment of my life — and now he needs me more than ever.

A few weeks ago, I found rapidly growing lumps under his jaw. Since then, my world has turned upside down. We’ve gone from vet to vet, doing bloodwork, and finally a biopsy. The results came back showing lymphoma cancer, but his specialists still need to do an echocardiogram and CT scan to understand whether the masses can be safely removed and what treatment options he has. (Chemotherapy)

What is Lymphoma? Lymphoma happens when lymphocytes (a type of white blood cell) start to grow and multiply in an abnormal, uncontrolled way. These cells normally protect the body, but when they become cancerous, they start to:

• Form lumps or masses

• Spread to other lymph nodes

• Affect organs like the spleen, liver, or bone marrow

we will be traveling to Hua Hin. It takes about 12 hours to commute to get him proper treatment.

I’m doing all of this while living alone in a foreign country, far away from family and friends. I’ve been carrying him to appointments, taking long rides to different clinics, and trying to stay strong for him — but the emotional and financial burden is becoming incredibly heavy. Every step of this journey has been filled with fear and the constant worry of not knowing what will happen next.

I love Jax more than words can express. He is my family. My world. And I want to give him every chance to stay comfortable, to fight, and to keep enjoying the days we still have together.

The costs for his vet visits, tests, specialist consultations, medications, and all the travel required to get him the care he needs are becoming overwhelming for me on my own.
