Please help me fight cancer for the third time.

Hi, my name is Louis and I never thought I’d be writing this for the third time.

Just a few days before Christmas, I received the devastating news that my cancer had returned. This is now my third battle with this disease and each round takes more out of me physically, emotionally, and financially.

Since my diagnosis, I’ve been unable to work, but the bills haven’t stopped. I am self-employed so I don't receive any help from the employment government system. I’ve fallen behind on my rent and the stress of mounting utility bills and everyday living costs is becoming overwhelming.

Thankfully, my chemotherapy and scans are covered by the NHS and I’m incredibly grateful for that. However as this is my third time battling cancer I am taking a new approach and following Jane McLelland’s cancer protocol, a treatment approach that combines supplements and off-label medications to block the pathways cancer uses to grow. It’s one of the few things that’s showing real promise for me.

However, this part of my treatment is only available through private oncologists. That means the consultations and medications come entirely out of pocket and they’re expensive. On top of that, I have to cover travel costs, fuel, and the basic bills that keep life running while I can’t work.

My fiancée is also out of work right now as she cares for our child, and despite the incredible support from my family, the financial strain is beginning to weigh on everyone. I want to keep fighting, but I also want to take some of the pressure off the people I love.

I'm on a five month treatment plan and I will be on a long to recovery.
