Hi, my name is Thereyse, and I’m a cat mom to Bean, my 4-year-old black cat (turning 5 this September).

What started as a routine check-up turned into something much more serious — Bean’s bloodwork showed early kidney issues. Since then, he’s needed multiple hospital stays, including additional bloodwork, IV fluids to support his kidneys and treatment for constipation.

Bean is a shy boy around other animals but loves people deeply. He’s been my emotional support through some of the hardest moments in my life, including losing my grandfather.

The vet bills have quickly become overwhelming, now reaching up to $3,600, and insurance doesn’t cover everything. I’m doing everything I can to help him recover and bring him home healthy. But it has taken a toll on me and my family.

Bean is still so young, and I just want him to have a long, happy life. Thank you for helping me give him that chance❤️
