Fundraiser Story
Kimberly Grubb is a loving mother who has faced unimaginable loss and heartache. She is reaching out for support to fulfill her heartfelt wish of having her daughter cremated and moved from Atlanta GA to Wytheville VA, so her ashes can be set alongside her and her late husband. Kimberly's husband passed away in 2017, and she wants her daughter to be reunited with them in the Saint Luke's Lutheran Church. Tragically, Kimberly's son also passed away almost two years ago, and due to a heartbreaking mistake, his remains were cremated against her wishes, leaving her without the closure of having his ashes. Additionally, her daughter's children, who she adored, will now never have the opportunity to know their mother due to her untimely passing. Her daughter faced many challenges, including the loss of her father, the heartbreaking separation from her children, and the tragic loss of her younger brother. Despite her own hardships, she always showed immense love and empathy towards others, even during their toughest times. Kimberly is currently facing financial difficulties, compounded by her own health struggles. At 47 years old, she has been advised to undergo both hip replacements, a daunting prospect for anyone, especially under the weight of such immense emotional burdens. The pain of losing her entire family and being separated from her grandchildren for over seven years has taken a toll on Kimberly. She is reaching out to the community with a heartfelt plea to help bring her daughter home to be set with her family and not have her ashes taken and kept from her mother and father by someone who has no right to keep her son's ashes and not Alexus' either. Any assistance, no matter the size, would mean the world to Kimberly as she longs to bring her baby girl home and find solace in honoring her memory. Your support will bring comfort and peace to a grieving mother who has endured more than anyone should have to bear. Please consider contributing to this meaningful cause and help Kimberly fulfill her wish to reunite her family for eternity.
