Please Help Me Beat Stage 3 Breast Cancer

Hi I’m Serena.

February 2017 brought an unexpected challenge to my life, that I never saw coming. I was diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer. From the outset, I was informed that it was stage 3 cancer. They found multiple tumours in my breast, lymph nodes and bone. I was 39 years old at the time. My son was 9 and my daughter was only 4 years old.

It has not been an easy journey. The first year was particularly tough, breaking the news to my very young children was difficult. However, my children and I continue to have an open and honest dialogue around cancer and they have been amazing and shown real resilience.

I have been blessed to have the most amazing support from friends, family and many other amazing people. For which I am eternally grateful.

For the past 7 years, I have undergone several treatments and with the help of my hospital, my oncology team and some amazing naturopaths, I have been very blessed to have kept my cancer contained within the 3 areas where cancer was first detected.

From the outset, I decided to deal with my diagnosis positively but the financial strain of my medical journey is daunting. Undertaking 7 years of complimentary and alternative therapies, along with the side-effects of hospital treatment has had a huge impact on my body, but also my finances.

Being a single parent throughout this journey and trying to navigate not just caring for myself, but caring for my growing children has been hugely difficult. And as a result, the tumours have begun to progress, become inflamed and painful.

So it’s come to this, I have found myself here asking for help! So that I can continue to fight against this disease! Writing this has been another challenging experience for me, as anyone who knows me will agree that I am the last person to ask for external help.

However, this journey has taught me many things, but one of the greatest things is that there are incredible people in this world. I do believe in the collective power of our community, so it is my hope that some of you can help.

The money donated will be used to:

* Build up a fund to self fund testing and treatments in order to destroy all tumours and restore/strengthen my immune system. Treatments include:

* Intravenous Vitamin C treatment - Recent studies have shown this treatment achieve objective regression of the disease and effective control of tumour progression. Estimated cost - £150 per infusion. Recommended protocol 3 infusions week

* Frequency Therapy - Promising Studies suggest these machines use low electromagnetic frequency, that deliver pulses at the same frequency as the damaged cancer cells to disable and destroy them. Estimated cost £2,400 upwards

* Hyperbaric Oxygen Chamber Sessions - Flooding the system with concentrated oxygen can help make cancer treatments more effective in destroying cancer cells while also activating the healing process in the body. Initial protocol: 20 daily sessions costing £400, then sessions twice a week.

* Help pay for supportive treatments to assist me in staying as strong as possible and give me a better quality of life.

* Masticating juicer. To be used daily in order to produce 1 L of organic green juice per day. Estimated cost: £600

* Chinese acupuncture and supported herbs, costing £100 per session once a week
